Mindfulness Day
On the 18th January 2018 we all enjoyed a Mindfulness Day in school.
Each class visited a number of workshops thought the day. Each workshop promoted relaxation and being present. We enjoyed a day full of mediation, yoga, visualisation and laughing yoga to name a few. Take a look at some photos from the day.
We have created a booklet that you can download below which talks about Mindfulness and strategies you can use in the home.

I can see clearly now the glitter has gone.
All the anger and fear had gone back to where it came from.
Mindfulness Day has helped me in a fun way.
Next year I hope we do it again, I pray!
Creating funky beats is certainly a treat.
Self -esteem yoga is calm and neat.
Meditation requires concentration.
All the colourful glitter jars remind me of stars.
I can see clearly now the day is done.
I can manage my feelings in my own way.
