Young Voices 2020
On Friday 31st January 2020, we took our largest ever choir of 58 children to Arena Manchester to take part in the Young Voices Concert within a mass choir of 8351 children.
The children were brilliantly behaved as always and had an amazing time singing with some famous faces including: Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), The Shires and Ruti Olajugbagbe (The Voice UK)
They also enjoyed dancing with Andy Instone and the Urban Strides troupe.
After we had had our tea, it was time to get into our Young Voices T-shirts and prepare for the concert.
Every child got a Young Voices torch and a Teenage Cancer Trust wristband. As always, it made us happy to think that we were able to help others while we were having such a great time.
There was great excitement once the audience started to arrive, and we were able to spot some of our parents and carers and wave to them across the Arena.

The afternoon rehearsals were great fun and prepared us for the evening concert.
The children and staff were very excited to have the opportunity to see the performing artists and the musicians.
The actual performance was an amazing experience. The children loved seeing all the torches lit up at once, and we managed to spot some of our parents and carers in the audience.
Everyone sang and danced their hearts out, and it was lovely to see so many happy smiling faces.
As always, our children's behaviour was excellent, and set an example to others around them.
