Headteacher Mrs C. Harrison B.Ed Hons NPQH

St. Edmund’s is a Voluntary Aided Roman Catholic Primary School serving the Parish of St Edmund’s and is proud to be part of the family of Salford Diocese. We are committed to providing a Christian education for our children in a happy, safe and secure environment, where everyone knows they belong, will grow in their Faith and works hard to achieve their very best.

As a school, we recognise the significant role parents and carers have in helping their children progress and achieve and so we value highly the contributions this partnership makes to the life of our school.

At St. Edmund’s, we WELCOME our children, families and visitors. They will become part of a friendly happy place where children follow the ways of Jesus by loving, valuing and respecting each other.

At St. Edmund’s, the WORD of God is placed at the centre of all that we do, celebrating the word of God in an interesting and fun way.

At St. Edmund’s, we WITNESS a loving, caring God in the way we live, the way we treat and care for one another.

At St. Edmund’s, we WORSHIP God through our class prayers, assemblies, whole school and class Masses and through the way we live together.

At St. Edmund’s, the WELFARE of pupils and adults are paramount. We show this in the way we treat one another fairly and equally and the way we respect each other. In our school we want everyone to feel safe and know they are valued as unique and made in the image and likeness of God.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find any information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.
