Summer II
World Book Day
We had a great time celebrating World Book Day. The children looked fantastic in their costumes and we loved Mr Warburton visiting the Nursery to read a story at the end of the day.
Foot Prints
The Nursery had a great time making foot prints using white paint. The Nursery children used a variety of describing words to explain to their friends and teachers how it felt.
Christmas
We all had great fun over Christmas in school. We danced, ate and partied all day.
NURSERY MASCOTS
Hello we are the Nursery Mascots Lenny the Lion, Tilly the Tiger and Benny the Bear. We come and play at your house and we can't wait to meet you all. See you all soon Nursery 2018 Love St Edmund's Nursery Mascots.
Fire Visit
The Nursery had a cheeky visit from the Fire Service on Thursday and we loved every minute. All the children had a go at squirting the hose and the Fireman even set of the siren on the Fire Engine!!!
Nursery
The first few weeks of Nursery life................and what great fun we have had.
RE
The Nursery children have been learning how to paint through prayer. They did a wonderful job and all the Nursery Teachers are very proud of the caring nature the children have.
Internet Safety
Mrs Hartley talked to the Nursery children about how to keep safe on the internet.
Animal Visits
Look who came into school to see the Nursery children.... a Giant Land African Snail and Willow an African hedgehog.
Odd Socks
The Nursery children joined in with Anti Bullying Week by wearing Odd Socks to show it does not matter to be different.
European Day of Languages
The Nursery children have looked at a variety of different ways to say Hello one of them being Bonjour. Take a quick look at the video.
Pancakes
The Nursery children loved watching Mrs H flipping the pancakes. The children enjoyed tasting the most.
Wow Celebration
The Nursery children and parents had great fun joining in with Squiggle whilst you wiggle and learning about the foundations of early mark making. Lovely to see such a great turn out.
The Nativity
The Nursery children all joined in with the Nativity Play
Shine Star Shine.
Remembrance Day
The Nursery children all joined in with the creating Poppy displays. Throughout the week the Nursery children talked about Poppies and how it is a very special flower which helps us remember all the soldiers who fell.
British Values
This week the whole school has been learning about British Value of democracy. To be part of this special week the Nursery children took part in a circle time session on being a good friend and sharing the Nursery toys.
PEACE DAY
The Nursery children loved painting the canvas linked to Peace Day. The children also had their hands painted to make Dove's.
