This half term we will be looking at the text 'Stormbreaker' by Anthony Horowitz.
In maths, we are focusing on making sure we know our times tables. Please support us at home by practising at every opportunity you can.

There are three class in Year 3/4 this year.

Year 3/4 took part in the fabulous maths roadshow organised by Year 6. They took part in many problem solving challenges working together to find the answers.
Black Dog by Levi Pinfold has been the focus of our work in English over this half term. We have been looking at using inverted commas in our writing and using ambitious verbs.
Year 3/4 have been on angles hunt this week. We are building our knowledge of acute, obtuse and right angles. We used the iPads to capture our findings.
Learning French has got of to a flying start this year! We have been learning common classroom phrases and numbers. We are learning to say the colours in french next!
On the 21st September, we celebrated Peace Day in school. In class we created acrostic poems spreading messages of peace and we created pinwheels for peace.
In Science, we have been looking at Living Things and their Habitats. We have been classifying animals into groups.
We have been using pictograms to display information and to retrieve facts from. Next, we will be building our knowledge of bar charts.
